It’s most important to ensure that your bathroom is spotlessly clean (no mold, mildew, or dirty caulk) and everything is working properly (no dripping faucets or running toilets). After that’s taken care of, you might consider making a few low-cost updates, like updating an old vanity, recaulking the tub, or replacing tiles.
Lighting improvements
Make your home light, bright, beautiful, and welcoming—just add lighting! Adding lighting to smaller rooms can make them seem bigger and more open, while adding task lighting (like a reading or tabletop lamp) can give larger rooms a cozier feel. Even just replacing old incandescent bulbs with LEDs can save you money and brighten your rooms a bit.
